Terms of service

What Spoonful is

Spoonful is a peer-support community for adults living with chronic illness, disability and ongoing health challenges. It is not a medical service, not a diagnostic tool, not an emergency service and not a substitute for care from a doctor or therapist.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older and use your own account. You are responsible for what you post, send and agree to do offline.

Peer content

Everything members share is personal experience, not professional advice. Members are not screened as healthcare professionals and should never be treated as such. Decisions about your health remain between you and your clinicians.

Acceptable use

Follow the community guidelines. No harassment, threats, spam, scams, impersonation, sexual content or soliciting money. Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or removed.

Offline meetings

Any meeting or help arranged through Spoonful happens at your own discretion. We provide safety guidance, reporting and blocking, but we cannot supervise offline interactions.

Your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting removes your login and profile data from the live service.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product grows. Continued use after an update means you accept the current terms.
